As Miss USA 2018, Sarah Rose Summers has spoken onstage to crowds of thousands, with her message broadcast on national television, across social media, and in her popular podcast. She has also spoken encouraging words to children and families in hospitals across the country, through her work as a certified child life specialist and her Miss USA platform.

Sarah Rose Summers graduated cum laude from Texas Christian University in four years, earning two separate degrees while working part-time as a pilates instructor and at Lululemon Athletica. Following graduation, she completed her clinical rotations at The Children’s Hospital – OU Medical Center to become a Certified Child Life Specialist. After passing her child life certification exam, Sarah Rose became the first ever Miss USA from her home state of Nebraska. As Miss USA, she fulfilled roles including: brand ambassador, foundation spokeswoman, influencer, and more. Since entering the public eye, she has extended her reach through speaking engagements, her podcast, More Than a Crown, YouTube and Instagram accounts with growing audiences, and foundations including Smile Train and Project Sunshine. She is now a newlywed, and lives in New York City
