Don Daseke

Don Daseke is the CEO and Chairman of Daseke Inc., the largest owner of flatbed and specialized transportation in North America. Daseke’s combined fleet of more than 5,000 tractors and 11,000 flatbed and specialized trailers serves North America’s most respected industrial shippers.

In February of 2017, Daseke became publicly traded on the Nasdaq stock exchange with the ticker symbol DSKE. Daseke has grown from $30 million in revenue in 2009 to a run rate of over $1.2 billion by the end of 2017.

Don was the southwest regional winner of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. He has been a Trustee of DePauw University for more than 30 years, and is a founding director of DePauw’s Center for Management & Entrepreneurship. Don has also served his local community, Addison, Texas, as Mayor Pro Tempore.

In April of 2018, he was inducted into the Horatio Alger Association for Distinguished Americans, joining names like US presidents Eisenhower, Ford and Reagan.

He received his B.A. from DePauw University, an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business and graduated from the Presidents Program in Leadership from the Harvard Business School. Don is also a Certified Public Accountant.

In his personal time, Don, along with his wife, children and grandchildren, enjoy hiking and bicycling adventure trips all around the globe.
